OSU Football player Jhajuan Seales Charged with DUI | Hawkins Spizman

A wide receiver on Oklahoma State’s football team, Jhajuan Seales, was arrested Sunday and charged with driving with an open container and driving under the influence.

According to court records, the football player was officially charged on Wednesday with a count of operating a motor vehicle while having a blood or breath alcohol content of .08 or more and having an open container of alcohol in his vehicle. The 21-year-old football player was released on bond.

A spokesman for the college said that Head Coach Mike Gundy is aware of the incident and the charges and is currently handling the situation internally.

Being charged with and convicted of driving under the influence can have serious consequences. Many of those consequences can last far into the future. What will happen to Seales’ college football career or, in fact, his status as a student at the school remains to be seen. What we do know is that if convicted, his charges will follow him for years to come.
