Television Star Potentially Facing Jail Time

CBS’s hit show NCIS has been on the air for over 10 years. One of the most popular stars, without a doubt, is Michael Weatherly, who plays Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo. Charismatic and handsome, Weatherly is a fan favorite. Unfortunately, he is now facing jail time.

According to police reports, Weatherly was pulled over earlier this month for speeding by Los Angeles police. Officers on scene tested the actor to see if he had been drinking. The test showed that Weatherly had a blood alcohol content that was above the legal limit.

The actor will soon be facing a judge and, if found guilty and convicted of the DUI charge, could face up to six months in jail. According to FOX, this is Weatherly’s first offense and it is very unlikely that he will see the inside of a cell. This is good news for the actor who already stared at the inside of a cell for 15 hours before being released after his arrest.

The court date for Weatherly has not been publicly released.
